Financial Assistance

Tuition assistance is available to registered parish families who regularly attend Mass and support their parish through stewardship of time, talent, and treasure. "Registered Parish Families" can be members at any of our local Catholic parishes.  "Registered" means you have contacted the respective parish office and have officially enrolled as a member of the parish.

Financial assistance is objectively based on the cost of tuition and the family’s ability to pay. This need is determined by completing these following aid processes:

To apply for any tuition assistance from your home parish or from Holy Cross:

  • Complete the FACTS application online at FACTS Grant & Aid Application FACTS Grant opens January 1, 2019.  The fee to apply has increased to $35.
  • Apply for the Spalding Scholarship Fund through the Diocese of Peoria.  More details about this scholarship will be posted as the Diocese releases the information.
  • Apply for the Empower Illinois grant. January 15, 2019 at 7pm is the opening date for the Empower Illinois scholarships.
  • Be a registered member of a local Catholic parish.

All four bullet points must be completed for Tuition Assistance Requests from all K-8 families.  At this time there is no tuition assistance for Preschool.
